Job Title : Operations Executive
Reports to : General Manager
Purpose
The reason why the job exists To conduct various operational
matters efficiently to ensure smooth functioning & growth of overall
business
Principal Accountabilities
1.To respond to various enquiries/sales leads from internal and
external customers pertaining to products, packing, specifications,
prices, delivery, etc
2.To prepare proforma invoices, sales & purchase orders
To follow up on order confirmation; obtain deposits/down payments
and inspection licences, if relevant
3.To submit necessary documentation for pre-shipment inspections and
maintain a constant follow up on the progress
4.To handle vendor payments thru various modes like letter of
credits, telegraphic transfers, documents against payments, etc
5.To schedule shipments with various vendors/suppliers and ensure
timely deliveries
6.To send shipment advises/intimation to internal & external
customers
7.To follow up for prompt receipt of shipping documents from various
vendors
8.Despatch of product samples/catalogues to various external &
internal customers
Key Decisions
1.Price Quotations
2.Coordinating with Pre-Shipment Inspection companies
Qualifications Required
1. Diploma or, Degree
Competencies Required
1. Knowledge of International Trade Practices
2. Experience of working in an organisation engaged in export-import
or, trading activities

Working hours : 9-6.15 pm (M-F)
